Optimism

I read the greatest sign today and I thought I would share.

“Optimist: Someone who figures that taking a step backward after taking a step forward is not a disaster, it’s more like a Cha-Cha.”

I used to be a raving optimist. I would drive my father nuts since he is a raving pessimist. After everything that’s happened, I do have bouts of pessimism, but I’m still mostly an optimist. This is a great way to look at life. For every step forward, there are usually one or two steps backward and that’s okay, life’s a dance!
